Technical Webinar- 1 (22nd May 2022)

The SLSAJ successfully conducted the first webinar session in 2022 in the field of Science and Technology under the theme “Novel Green Building technologies for Sustainable Development ”. The guest speaker was Snr. Prof. Ranjith Dissanayake ( University of Peradeniya) currently the President of the Green Building Council, Sri Lanka. Basic concepts and importance of Green Building techniques were discussed during the session. Furthermore, importance of awareness activities, reuse of demolished construction materials and use of by-products from different industries for constructions were emphasized.
