Embassy Affairs

The Executive Committee, on behalf of the Sri Lankan Students’ Association, had the distinct honor of meeting the newly appointed Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Japan to greet His Excellency Prof. Janak Pivithuru Kumarasinghe, to extend warm wishes for his tenure ahead at the Sri Lankan Embassy in Tokyo.

 

It was a meaningful evening filled with inspiring and productive dialogue on working hand in hand toward shared hopes for the Sri Lankan community in Japan. We were truly grateful for the opportunity to meet with His Excellency and express our commitment to supporting his vision for deeper engagement with Sri Lankan students and professionals abroad.

 

We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to Ms. Sesath Thambugala and Ms. Thilini Gunarathna from the embassy staff for their gracious presence and warm hospitality throughout the event.

We look forward to continuing this collaborative spirit and strengthening the bonds between the Sri Lankan student body and our diplomatic mission.
