SUMMARY:Poson Program 2023
DESCRIPTION:  \nSri Lanka Students’ Association in Japan (SLSAJ) successfully conducted the Poson pinkama 2023 with Shoshanji Sri Lankan Temple\, Hachioji\, Tokyo on 11th June 2023. The program commenced at 8.30 a.m with Sil observing program. Afterward\, several religious activities were carried out. The event concluded with the presentation of the Digital Torana and recitation of Devotional songs (Bakthi gee) by SLSAJ members and participants from 5.30 p.m. onwards. We extend our gratitude to Shoshanji Sri Lankan Temple\, the participants\, and the members of SLSAJ for their valuable support in the successful organization of this event.

SUMMARY:SLSAJ Coordination in the Sri Lankan New Year Festival (April 2023)
DESCRIPTION:After a long hiatus of 4 years\, the Sinhala and Tamil New Year Festival in Japan 2023 was successfully held in Saitama on the 16th of April\, with active participation from the large Sri Lankan community residing in Japan. All the events organized during the festival witnessed enthusiastic participation\, and awards were presented to the winners. The day concluded with a musical show. Sri Lanka Students’ Association in Japan would like to express our special thanks to the Sri Lankan Embassy in Japan\, sponsors\, all the Sri Lankan voluntary associations in Japan\, and the Sri Lankan community who contributed to the success of this New Year Festival. \n   \n

SUMMARY:Annual Research Conference SLSAJARC 2021
DESCRIPTION:Sri Lanka Students’ Association in Japan and Sri Lanka Academics’ Association in Japan are pleased to announce that this year’s conference (SLSAJARC – 2021) will be jointly organized and held on 11th December\, 2021 under the theme “Towards Resolute Global Environs from the Opportunities of Crisis”. The worldwide and nationwide travel restrictions imposed by governments to prevent the spread of COVID-19 has put more limitations on organizing a conference in the traditional format allowing face-to-face interactions among researchers. However\, in an attempt to not be discouraged and to turn the unexpected turn of events to a positive outcome\, this year’s SLSAJARC – 2021 will be held as a virtual conference connecting students\, researchers and academics from around the world.
