May festival of The University of Tokyo is an academic and cultural festival, which is the biggest annual event held in UTokyo, organised by the students of The University of Tokyo. In this year, May festival is going to be held on 20th and 21st May at University of Tokyo, Hongo Campus.
Sri Lankan Food Corner is a food stall, host by UTokyo Sri Lankan Students’ Association, that gives everybody an opportunity to taste authentic and delicious Sri Lankan cuisine.
A few things about Sri Lankan cuisine can be said with certainty: We, Sri Lankans, thoroughly love spices, we love food that explodes with flavour, and many enjoy deep fried, and very tasty, snacks.
In this festive season at Hongo Campus, you can taste delicious Sri Lankan coconut Roti and authentic Sri Lankan style devilled chicken with world famous Ceylon tea at Sri Lankan Food Corner. ‘Sri Lankan devilled chicken’ is one of the most distinctly tasty snacks made with a unique combination of fried chicken, tomatoes, onions and many other spices. Coconut Roti is one of the most famous cuisines for the main dish, prepared with wheat flour and coconut.
